Jean-Sébastien Roy is a trained physiotherapist who works as a researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (Cirris) and as a Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada). The objective of his research program is to advance our understanding of the development and chronicity of shoulder pain, thereby enabling the design of more effective interventions that leverage modern technologies and most current evidence, while also improving access to healthcare services.
