Birgitte Hougs Kjær is researcher and Sports Physical Therapist at the Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy and Institute of Sports Medicine (ISMC) at Copenhagen University Hospital Bispebjerg Frederiksberg (Denmark). She performs clinical research related to Sports Medicine, orthopedics, occupational medicine, and rehabilitation with a focus on improving treatment for patients with chronic or acute shoulder pain. She works in clinical practice as a shoulder specialist.
